JITM has manufactured more than 15 mobile testing vans so far with start of art infrastructure and equipment. JITM also has rolled out its own fleet of NABL accredited and ICMR approved Mobile RT PCR testing labs to support high-volume COVID 19 testing needs of the country.

These Mobile RT PCR Testing labs are having capacity to test upto4000 samples daily with a turnaround time of 24 hours. These automated vans have very low need for human intervention and allows to process samples from Receiving to reporting 24 hours continuously. Each mobile lab can process as many up to 4000 tests per day.

All JITM laboratories are accredited by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL) and Indian Council of Medical Research. Each RT PCR Covid-19 Mobile Testing vans are equipped with state of art facilities which include:

• RT-PCR

• Bio-safety Hood

• Laminar Hood

• RNA extractors (high throughput) and;

• Dedicated Rooms for:

• Donning/Doffing

• RNA extraction

• Master Mix Preparation

• Template addition

• Other facilities:

• Uninterrupted power support

• Fire exit

• CCTV and Remote Monitoring
